Dynamic Project Management was selected in January 2024 to be the General Contractor for the new Wolfville Welcome Centre.

This project was a design build collaboration between The Town of Wolfville, Dynamic Project Management Inc., and SP Dumaresq Architect Ltd.

The scope and intent of this project was to demolish the existing building and build a 600sq.ft energy efficient, barrier free and fully accessible space that blended with the surrounding environment in the town.  Working with the project team, DPM and SPDA constructed a community friendly building with all locally sourced building materials.

The building is highlighted with the following:

• Vaulted ceilings in the main space with a large dormer window allowing natural light into the space.
• A custom built 6-foot-high cupola was integrated onto the large timber canopy to pay tribute to the fishing heritage of the town.
• 2 barrier free washrooms, one of them is equipped with a barrier free shower.
• 2 barrier free change rooms to accommodate the existing splash pad.
• Energy efficient exterior building lighting on timers and solar powered bollards to ensure maximum energy efficiency.
